VoiceGain Platform Pricing Announced

Irving, TX. Today VoiceGain has announced it very competitive pricing for its ASR / IVR platform.


Terminology

To understand how the pricing applies to the various components and services of the VoiceGain platform let's define some of the terminology used:

  • Time - generally the time referenced in pricing is the Audio time, not the processing time. For example, if 1 hour long audio is submitted for off-line recognition and the recognition takes 20 minutes, the customer will be billed for 60 minutes of ASR time.

  • ASR service - use of Speech Recognition service. Just the time that the ASR Engine is actively listening - from START RECOGNIZE to SUCCESS/NOMATCH/NOINPUT - is billed.

  • IVR service - use of either MRCP- or SPI-based IVR service. Time billed is from start of the MRCP or SPI session to the end of it.

  • Cloud - services provided by VoiceGain in the cloud - pricing has to cover both the license and the actual cost (hardware, power, bandwidth) of the services

  • OnPrem - services run on customer provided hardware - the price has to comes just the license

  • Preemptible - less expensive services, which are more likely to require retry if the resource providing the service got evicted.

  • Off-line - services that get queued for processing. Because of the more efficient use of resources these service benefit from lower pricing

  • Standard Model - one of the standard VoiceGain Acoustic Models available to all customers

  • User-Trained (Custom) Model - Acoustic Model trained by the Customer. There is no cost to Custom Model Training OnPrem as it uses Customer resources; however, use of Custom Models has a higher license fee.


Pricing: Cloud

  • ASR - off-line or preemptible: 1.20 cents per minute

  • ASR - other: 1.60 cents per minute

  • IVR session: 0.20 cents per minute

  • Prone number provided by VoiceGain: 1.25 cents per minute call time


Pricing: OnPrem

  • ASR - Standard model: 1.20 cents per minute

  • ASR - Custom Model: 1.60 cents per minute

  • IVR session: 0.05 cents per minute

  • Customer is responsible for provisioning phone numbers (SIP trunks) if needed by the IVR


Notes

Details about how time is counted towards billing, SLA, etc.

  • None of the billing is per port. VoiceGain does not license or bill ports - only the time used is billed.

  • If ASR is used together with IVR then the ASR time is billed on top of IVR.

  • ASR time accrues at 5 second increments with minimum charge of 15 seconds.

  • IVR time accrues at 15 second increments with minimum session charge of 60 seconds

  • There is a minimum charge of $3.00 per phone number per month which includes 2 hours of call time.

  • Preemptible SLA are 99.8, otherwise the SLA is 99.95. SLA numbers are computed monthly.

  • Large volume discounts are available to customers using OnPrem deployments.

  • User-Trained Custom Model is available in the Cloud at specified Real-Time Cloud pricing with a minimum monthly charge of $2,500.00 which includes 2,500 ASR hours. Please contact sales@voicegain.ai for more information.

  • At his point Custom Model training in the Cloud is still only on our Roadmap - exact availability will be announced by end 2019.
